SHIPPING CHARGES

 

For deliveries in mainland France (France metropolitan) and Corsica, we charge a forfaitary shipping charge of:

- 18 € (+VAT) for any order under 300 € (including VAT)

- Free shipping for any order of 300€  (including VAT) or more.

For deliveries in any other departement (DOM TOM) of France, please contact us so we can provide a personnalized shipping charge depending on then current shipper charges and volume.

You can mix the vintages and wines in the same case but, in order to ensure delivery in the best possible conditions, we kindly ask you to respect multiples of 6 bottles per case. 

Our wines are also available at WineSitting if you wish to purchase less than 6 bottles.

Cépage: 85% Tannat, 15% Cabernet Franc.
Sol/Climat: Sols de gros galets roulés et d’argiles à gravettes. Climat de Piémont pyrénéen. Exposition plein sud en haut d’un coteau face aux Pyrénées.
Vinification: Vinifications parcellaires en cuves thermo-régulées pour une gestion optimale des fermentations avec de délicats pigeages pendant 15 à 20 jours. Elevage en foudres de chêne et barriques durant 24 à 36 mois pour assurer une complexité aromatique optimale. La mise en bouteille se fait au domaine.
Robe: Teinte grenat profonde avec de discrets reflets oranges
Nez: Des notes de cassis, de rose et de fraise se mélangent
Bouche: La bouche est enveloppante avec beaucoup de fraîcheur et des tanins de très grande qualité. Un véritable Madiran parfaitement équilibré.

A dark and powerful vintage with a nose of blackcurrant and spicy woodland strawberries, luxurious tannin, well balanced and a true Madiran.

Grape variety : 85% Tannat, 15% Cabernet Franc

Soil/Climate: Clay soil with large pebble stones located on a steep hillside entirely surrounded by woodland south facing the Pyrenées

Continental climate at the foothills of the Pyrenées

Vinification: Plot per plot vinification initially in concrete thermo regulated vats; natural fermentation with delicate punching down during 15 to 20 days; aging in oak casks and barrels during 30 months for optimal aromatic complexity. Bottling at the estate

Visual: a dark intense and garnet colour with discrete hints of orange

Nose: blackcurrant, rose and strawberry notes are perfectly blended.

Tasting: full bodied with great freshness and luxurious tanins. A well balanced and exceptional Madiran which is perfect for drinking today or may be laid down for many years.

Open several hours before consumption and consider decanting. To be consumed at room temperature 16C

Food for thought: Cold meat platter, duck with orange, game, beef, asian rice dishes, risotto plates and blue cheese.
