Cuvée Hugo 2014
A wonderfully modern vintage, which combines all the attributes conferred by the exceptional site and terroir of the vineyard. A special wine endowed by great definition, depth and a multi-layered presence. A complex and more feminine wine with floral notes.

Vintage: Cuvée Hugo
Grape variety: 100% Tannat
Soil/Climate:Clay soil with large pebble stones located on a steep hillside entirely surrounded by woodland south facing the Pyrenées .
Continental climate at the foothills of the Pyrenées
Vinification: Plot per plot vinification initially in concrete thermo regulated vats; natural fermentation with delicate punching down during 15 to 20 days; aging in oak casks and barrels for 24 months for optimal aromatic complexity. Bottling at the estate
Visual: dark and intense garnet colour
Nose: rich nose revealing ripe fruits, cedar wood and menthol
Tasting: a powerful, complex and tender mouth. A real punch in a velvet glove
Open several hours before consumption and consider decanting. Best consumed at room temperature 16C.
Food for thought: Crispy duck breast, meat stews and navarins, wild boar and traditional game dishes. Cheese platter and dark chocolate cake.

- Free shipping for any order of 300€ (including VAT) or more.
For deliveries in any other departement (DOM TOM) of France, please contact us so we can provide a personnalized shipping charge depending on then current shipper charges and volume.
You can mix the vintages and wines in the same case but, in order to ensure delivery in the best possible conditions, we kindly ask you to respect multiples of 6 bottles per case.
