Bouchy 2017
The Tannat grape has notes of blackcurrant, red fruit, earth and minerality.
The subtlety and extreme complexity of Tannat is achieved by vinification in large oak casks and barrels for 24 to 36 months after harvest.
We also make 100% Tannat wine.

Grape variety: 100% Cabernet Franc
Soil/Climate: Clay soil with large pebble stones located on a steep hillside entirely surrounded by woodland south facing the Pyrenées. Continental climate at the foothills of the Pyrenées. Massal selection of older cabernet franc vines.
Vinification: Natural fermentation in 600 litre barrels with gentle manual punching down during 2 to 3 weeks; aging during 18 months in oak barrels; bottling at the estate
Visual: brilliant rubis colour
Nose: the nose mixes notes of honey, figs, vanilla and woodland fruits.
Tasting: a dynamic and refreshing vintage which progresses powerfully. A great sense of purity and aromatic presence including plums and red fruit
Food for thought: Perfect as an aperitif, or to accompany any meat or poultry dish and cheese. Ideal with lentils and ham

Alcohol : 14.0% Vol.

- 18 € (+VAT) for any order under 300 € (including VAT)
- Free shipping for any order of 300€ (including VAT) or more.
For deliveries in any other departement (DOM TOM) of France, please contact us so we can provide a personnalized shipping charge depending on then current shipper charges and volume.
You can mix the vintages and wines in the same case but, in order to ensure delivery in the best possible conditions, we kindly ask you to respect multiples of 6 bottles per case.
