This is the story of the passion of two families and the world-class wines they create at Domaine Pichard, tucked away in the foothills of the Pyrénées mountains at the cross-roads of the Bigorre, Bearn and the Gers regions in the south-west of France. 

Wine has been grown in this  region for over 2000 years. The Romans occupied the region and floor mosaics from a Roman villa nearby attest to their celebration of Bacchus and the pleasures of life.
